David Goggins was born in Buffalo, New York on 17 February 1975 in an American family. His father used to beat him every time and Goggins could never stop him. When he was just eight, his father left his mother. He graduated from Army Ranger School and received the “Top Honor Man Award” in 2004. He is also regarded as the “Toughest Man Alive”.
Career
In 2001, David Goggins started his career as a Navy seal and was posted in Afghanistan. He is the first US Armed forces member to complete SEAL training and US Tactical Air Controller training. He retired as Chief Petty officer and started his running career. He started his running career in the 2005 San Diego Ultra-Marathon and ended up 5th position overall. He also participated in the Los Vegas Marathon and Bad water 135.
