What is this way of life that the majority of people have accepted without questioning? It seems as though people have just resigned themselves to a life of mediocrity and remain unaware of their greatness. Take a look around at the majority of people who are asleep, working day after day just to pay their bills and living for the weekend. What kind of a life is this? You have to find out what your passions are, what your dreams are, what your unique gifts and talents are, and what your life work is meant to be. Joseph Campbell said it best, “Follow your bliss.”
Are you asleep to your greatness? Are you doing what average people do day after day? Do you just live like a slave working to pay your bills? Are you afraid to go after what you truly want? And are you living someone else’s life? Take a good look at your life, is this the life that you want to live forever? Most people are confined to mediocrity because they are busy making a living, rather than designing a life. The world has been set up in a way that money is the currency that allows you to live in freedom. The majority of people are in a prison of mediocrity paying their taxes and living like robots. What a shame that is.
The majority of people just go through the normal initiation of being mediocre, go to school, go to college, go to university, go get a job, and just get by paying your bills for the next fifty years and slowly moving up the career ladder. What a stupid way of living that the majority of people just accept as if it is ok. The majority of people do not ever try anything different, they just get comfortable in an average job and end up living a life of mediocrity. Do you think that you have come into this world to be like the majority who slave away building someone else’s dream? Are you not here to be more? Accomplish more? Make a difference? And live life on your terms?
You have greatness within you, you are more powerful than you can ever begin to imagine, and you are greater than your circumstances. You have to stand up within yourself and say ‘I can do this’. Look within yourself and see what you truly want to do with your life, don’t just cower away and be afraid to live the life that you are capable of living. Let these words inspire within you the belief that you have what it takes. You can shape your life in whatever way you want it to be, make sacrifices for success, and get started on a new path by taking daily consistent action in the direction of your dreams.
The world belongs to the dreamers who do. Five years from now if you are still living a mediocre life why will that be? Why are you not living life on your terms? Why is that? Did you just decide to be afraid to live? And did you just waste your days doing the same things day after day? Find what you love to do and go and do it, now! What is stopping you from taking action? Many people think that it is external factors that stop them from accomplishing more in life, but that is wrong. The only person stopping you from living how you truly want to live is you. Success is dependent on you. If you are a wage slave five years from now it is your own fault. Success is a result of the changes that take place within yourself, within is where the keys to success are, you are the key to success.
